Laser dentistry is a new approach in treating gingivitis, and we use computer-aided crown design for a precision fit. We are open Mon-Fri and our friendly staff is always ready to serve you at our new location. We follow all OSHA regulations and are fully HIPAA-compliant.

Kathleen Williams, D.M.D.
Dr. Williams, a native of Orlando, Florida, is the owner/operator of Palm Ridge Dental in The Villages and has practiced as a general dentist there since 2004. She received both her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and D.M.D. degrees at the University of Florida. While in Dental school she served as class Vice President and the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) class representative and was the recipient of the Omicron Award for Ethics. Dr. Williams also holds memberships in the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Central Florida Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentists. Prior to her education at UF, Dr. Williams spent 8 years living and working in the dental profession in Zurich, Switzerland and speaks German fluently.

Dr. Williams also devotes considerable time throughout the year attending continuing education courses on oral pathology, restorative dentistry, and esthetics as well as on the latest in dental research and technology so that she may provide her patients the best in comprehensive dental care and oral health education. She also gives lectures throughout The Villages on such topics as the oral health implications of Sjogren’s Syndrome, dry mouth and Parkinson’s Disease and has been an annual sponsor of The Lily golf tournament to benefit Alzheimer’s research.

The tradition of dentistry has been in Dr. Williams’ family for over three generations. She is devoted to the care of her patients and it is her number one priority to ensure that they receive the best standard of care and are completely satisfied with their experiences at her practice.

Reem Jaber, D.M.D.
Dr. Reem Jaber, an Orlando, Florida native, is an experienced clinician focused on providing individualized and compassionate care for all of her patients. A Golden Knight and a Gator, Dr. Jaber completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida, majoring in Molecular and Microbiology, before receiving her Doctorate from the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where she was a classmate of Dr. Williams. Prior to joining Palm Ridge Dental, Dr. Jaber practiced dentistry in the Greater Orlando area.

Dr. Jaber is committed to keeping up with the newest advances in dental research and technology and frequently attends dental continuing education courses. As a result, she is able to provide her patients with gentle yet comprehensive dental care as well as educate her patients on maintaining their oral health.

Following her belief in giving back to the community, Dr. Jaber has provided dental care through the Give Kids a Smile program, community clinics, and participated in international humanitarian relief efforts in providing dental care to those in impoverished and war-torn areas.

James Shorr, D.D.S.
Dr. Shorr is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo and maintained a private dental practice, in upstate New York, for over 30 years. He has a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction shared by only 5% of the dentists in the U. S. and has also mastered levels of achievement at the Pankey Institute.

Dr. Shorr’s emphasis on patient comfort, as well as on keeping up with the latest in technology, enables him to provide our patients with the best in quality care.

Dr. Shorr and his wife are semi-retired and live here in The Villages. They both enjoy visits from their grandchildren and all that The Villages has to offer.
